One Shoot.
30 Days of Content.

The exact system used to turn 110 photos from a single session into 40+ carousels, 3 reels, and weeks of stories... with real numbers to prove it.

The Problem

Studio shots get used once.

Real light and real life is what makes people stop and connect. Staged studio work looks good... then it's spent.

Studio

One shot. One use.

Staged · controlled · disposable
  • Looks like a shoot, not like your life
  • Great for one hero post, then it's done
  • Nice photo... but no connection behind it
  • Nothing left to repurpose once it's posted
You paid for a session. You got a post.
Lifestyle

One shoot. Everything.

Real · repeatable · endless
  • Looks like you're actually living it... that's what people connect with
  • Same session becomes video covers, carousels, story Q&As, standalone shots
  • Every frame has a second life somewhere
  • The system above turns it into 30 days, not 1 post
That's the entire point of shooting this way.

Studio shots are 100% part of the journey... they'll always have their place. But if business and conversion are the focus, lifestyle is what earns it. Video covers, carousels, story Q&As, standalone shots. The possibilities are endless.

The Philosophy

Why I don't do talking heads anymore.

Everyone thinks value comes from information... a talking head, explaining something to camera. But talking to your phone already does that. That's what stories are for.

Displaying aura. You living the life, walking the walk, with a client, in a session. A photo delivers more "value" than a polished talking head ever will.

It just doesn't align with me to charge for that service.

The Real Numbers

Not hypothetical

@pumulanis runs PLIFESTYLE... an online physique coaching brand. He booked one shoot, walked away with 110 edited stills the same day, and has been posting from that one session for over a month.

That's not luck. That's a system. Most people book a shoot, post 3 photos, and wonder where the content went. The difference is knowing how to break a shoot down before you even arrive... and how to deploy it methodically after.

How It Breaks Down

110 stills become 30 days

Four content types, pulled from the same shoot, deployed on different rhythms.

01

Carousels

6–8 frames each · 40–50 total posts
  • Group frames by location or look... not by quality
  • Each location or outfit change = a new carousel
  • Mix close-ups, mid-shots, and full-body in each set
  • First frame is the scroll-stopper... choose the most striking
  • Don't post all at once... space them 2–3 days apart
With 110 stills across 4–5 looks: that's 20–25 possible carousels before you've even thought about mixing looks.
02

Single Posts

Hero frames · 5–10 per shoot
  • Pull your 5–10 strongest individual frames
  • These are your identity posts... grid anchors that define the aesthetic
  • Use these on high-engagement days... Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Caption these with substance... opinion, story, or lesson
A single strong frame with the right caption outperforms a weak carousel every time.
03

Stories

Unlimited · days of material
  • Every carousel frame that doesn't make the feed goes to stories
  • Post 3–5 story frames per day from the backlog
  • Add polls, questions, or text overlays to drive engagement
  • Stories don't need to be "perfect"... rawer works here
110 stills means roughly 60–70 frames that don't make feed posts. That's 2+ weeks of daily story content from one shoot.
04

Reels

Voice note style · from the same footage
  • The "voice note to yourself" style... just talk about what you're thinking, cut over the clips
  • No script, no talking to camera... just you thinking out loud
  • A real chance to speak and connect, not just fire information at people
  • Raw and vulnerable beats polished... this is where people actually feel you
  • Get honest... far too many people are scared to speak how they actually feel, and that's exactly what brings people in
  • No new footage needed... narrate over the movement shots and B-roll from the same shoot
This is the one format a talking head can't compete with. Nobody connects with a script.

The System

The 5-step system

From brief to repurpose... the process behind every shoot that actually produces 30 days of content.

01

Brief the shoot before you arrive

The content bank starts before the camera comes out. Know in advance how many looks you're doing, which locations you want, and what type of shots each one needs. Turn up without a plan and you'll get great photos... but not a content system.

  • Minimum 3 distinct looks or locations per shoot
  • Each look should have: hero shot, movement shot, detail shot
  • Tell the photographer what you're posting to... feed, stories, reels, ads
02

Sort by look, not by quality

When your photos arrive, the instinct is to pull the best 10 and ignore the rest. This is where most people lose 80% of their content bank. Sort everything by look or location first... even the "B-tier" frames are carousel fillers and story content.

  • Create a folder per look: Look 1, Look 2, Look 3 etc.
  • Within each folder: Hero / Mid / Detail / Movement
  • Every folder becomes at least one carousel... most become two
03

Build the content calendar before you post anything

Don't post on impulse. Map out 30 days before a single frame goes live. You want variety across the month... not three carousels in a row followed by two weeks of silence.

  • Aim for: carousel / single / reel / stories repeating across the week
  • Space same-look carousels at least 5–7 days apart
  • Pin your strongest frame as the first post... sets the tone for what follows
04

Write captions in batches, not one at a time

Sitting down to write a caption every time you post kills consistency. Get yourself to a coffee shop, change the environment, put the phone away. That's how the ideas actually come. Pen and paper, or a laptop, write 15–20 captions in one sitting, and schedule them. You never want "what do I write" to be the reason a post doesn't go out.

  • Change your environment... you won't get real ideas sat in the same four walls
  • Phone away, distractions gone, just you and the writing
  • Match caption style to content type: education on carousels, identity on singles, soft CTA on reels
  • Write like you talk... not like a marketer
  • Every caption should end with something... a question, a save prompt, a soft CTA
05

Repurpose ruthlessly across platforms

One carousel on Instagram is also a TikTok slideshow. One reel on Instagram is also a TikTok video. One story sequence on Instagram is also a TikTok story. Every piece of content should live in at least two places.

  • Post reels to TikTok and Instagram simultaneously
  • Instagram carousels → TikTok photo slideshows
  • Story frames → TikTok stories or standalone clips

The Math

Where the numbers come from

110 stills sorted into 5 looks
22 per look
Each look → 2 carousels (8 frames each)
10 carousels
Mixed-look carousels (cross-look sets)
+20–30 carousels
Hero single frames pulled
8–10 singles
Reels cut from footage
Only if reels are part of your deliverables... some packages are stills only
3–4 reels
Remaining frames → stories
60–70 frames
Total pieces of content
90–110 posts

Most photographers charge £270 for 14 photos... delivered in a month. By the time they arrive the moment has passed, the trend is dead, and you've got enough content for one week if you're lucky. The shoot is only half the equation. Volume, speed, and knowing how to deploy what you get is the other half. That's the system above. One shoot. Used properly. Thirty days minimum.

The Bottom Line

The problem.

You're good at what you do. But if no one sees that... no one buys that.

That's what this fixes. One shoot, deployed properly, is thirty days of proof instead of a folder of photos nobody sees.
